Jim`s Big Burger in Victoria

Long time to wait but it is worth it the burgers are so amazing

My friend I loved the burgers and the variety of the sides. Only thing we wish were a tad bigger was the sides. The deserts looked amazing! Which we should have tried, but maybe on our next trip to Victoria, TX.

The food and atmosphere is always awesome!

Twice I have gone here and twice the food was bad. The grease is so old you can smell it from the parking lot. I tried a fish sandwich the first time and the burned grease made it inedible after the first bite. This time I tried a chili cheese dog, hard to mess up a hotdog right? Wrong. Never again.

Wow. I don't know why we waited so long to try this place out. I don't usually like burgers, but the bacon cheeseburger was amazing. With a side of onion rings and a sweet tea, it was a fantastic lunch. I just wish I'd had room for dessert. The homemade strawberry shortcake looked delicious!

Seriously the best damn burger in the state. I grew up in Victoria & our family lived off burgers from Jim's Big Burger. Now having moved away, I make trips to Victoria just to have a burger from Jim's. If you live in a bigger city, the cost of this burger is outstanding. Nice big burger with perfectly toasted butter buns and a an outstanding seasoned patty topped with fresh Romaine lettuce, sliced onion & tomatoes. It's Burger Heaven. Every time I come to Jim's is always packed (with locals). The staff is great and the owner is always in the kitchen! Ko

Hadn't been here in years. Loved this place when I was young and it's probably better now, than it was then. Staff were incredibly friendly and burgers were great.

First time customer... their signature burger is tasty and well-prepared... food was prepared quickly... great wait staff...loved the fries. Following all the Covid requirements...

There burgers, onion rings, Tea, sweet potato fries are great. Service at drive thru was very nice and helpful. It was our first time trying Jim's and we've been back. Yhank You

The Burgers are awsome

This is the second time I have come to this eatery. Great food, small town diner atmosphere, people are friendly, food is usually fast. If the place is packed expect a wait but still relatively quick. Malts are fantastic and highly recommended. Converse with the locals, they're friendly too

The lobby is small. The staff were friendly. It was very crowded too. The burgers we're good. Everyone at my table was satisfied. It was about $40 for 5 people. I would eat there again if I wanted a burger.

They do a good job moving people through even when busy.

I go to Jim's Big Burger at 3 times a week. I have had wonderful service and happy greetings when I walk in. Great burgers fixed like you order.

The food was amazing and the service was superb!! We will definitely visit there again. I can't believe I've lived in the area all my life and never ate there until now.

One of the best burgers we ever had. U can taste the meat & every ingredient put on the burger -- tomatoes, pickles....everything! Quick service with a beautiful smile. Clean & great Easter decor for the season. Can't wait to go here again!

Very hot and tasty. Thin burgers but were every bit as big as the big bun. Very great onion rings. Can't beat the prices either. Recommend for a some good eats.

Skip the fries, and instead order the Fried Green Beans. You can pretend it's healthy while questioning why've you never tried them before. Life. Changing.

Always stellar service and food

The food is good. Burgers are better than average. The staff is the low point every time I come. Never a thanks or any attempt at attentiveness or courtesy. They act like it is a burden to be there. Sad that very few companies attempt or succeed in positive customer service these days. Probably wont be back.

Victoria is a place with many great places to eat. Glad I got to stop in at Big Jim's. The food was good place was clean staff was cordial.

Chili cheese burger and tator tots were fantastic. Decorated for Halloween. Great place to eat always busy and great staff.

This is my 2nd favorite burger joint. Tastes great and for about 7 bucks you will be so full you might have to roll to the car. My #1 is Storms in Lampasas TX.

First time trying and I really loved it I will definitely be back just the prices are a little bit high

Traveling through and stopped with my mother to get a burger. No seating for her in her wheelchair! 🤬We had to resort to eating outside with flies around our food. We won’t be stopping here when we come through again unless they make changes to their seating. If you’re in a wheelchair don’t even bother stopping. Waste of time.

Great place to grab a hamburger. Sometimes it is hard to find a seat because they are so busy. Well worth the wait though. The shakes have an old fashion taste to them. If you're looking for a great hamburger with hometown feel. Give Jim's s shot.

Good food & good prices

Jim's Big Burger continues to be the best, burgers and fries and onion rings are very good. Staff are always up and polite and make you feel you are welcome and glad you are there. Dining area was very clean and orderly and marked of to allow for social distancing and mask is required to enter and order. We'll be back !

First time here and it was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend establishment

I am in town for work and stopped to get dinner. Burger was fantastic and customer service was decent. I got a bowl of chili and it seemed mediocre potentially canned but as I ate it I felt something hard. No joke there was a screw in my chili, not sure how this happened but could’ve potentially been a serious injury if I wasn’t paying attention. I’m debating contacting an attorney as this is just absurd negligence. Unfortunate that this happened because I sincerely enjoyed the burger.
